The symbol of the American Camp Association is the acorn, symbolizing the growth that children undergo through attending camp --"Mighty oaks from little acorns grow."
Attendees received hand-made, acorn-themed bookmarks when they stopped by our booth. Association benefactors received a van ride to the special event sponsored by Merchants Leasing (a major provider of rental vans to camps), and were presented with silver-plated bookmarks as a thank you for their generosity to camps.
